Most workplace experiences ask participants to absorb information.
This experience asks them to notice. To observe. To explore. To engage with curiosity rather than performance.
For a brief moment, attention shifts away from deadlines, expectations, and constant demands and returns to the present moment.
Participants begin with a gentle transition from doing into being.
Through guided artistic exploration and accessible creative techniques, attention shifts away from constant demands and toward the present moment.
The experience concludes with reflection, allowing participants to notice what has emerged and carry it forward.
A 45 minute focused introduction designed for team meetings, employee appreciation events, and workplace wellness initiatives.
A 90 minute creative exploration with deeper reflection, and expanded studio practice.
A 3-4 hour customized creative experiences designed around organizational goals and event objectives.
Multi-session programs for leadership teams, conferences, and organizational retreats.
Calming the Chaos™ is not an art class.
Nor is it a conventional team-building activity.
Calming the Chaos™ is a structured creative experience designed to help participants shift from constant doing into focused presence. Through accessible artistic exploration, employees experience a different mode of attention, one that encourages curiosity, observation, experimentation, and reflection.

Whether you're planning an employee wellness initiative, conference session, leadership retreat, or appreciation event, each experience can be tailored to meet the needs of your audience.

Artist, educator, and former public-school art teacher, Erin Leigh Boughamer has spent more than two decades helping people access creativity through observation, exploration, and process.
Calming the Chaos™ emerged from the same principles that guide her studio practice: that creativity is not reserved for a select few, but remains available to anyone willing to return to the page.
