Calming Chaos

This collection titled Calming Chaos celebrates the tranquility and peace that can exist even amidst life’s mayhem and discord. These pieces were born from my life's traumas and the power to heal from artist expression. While creating this collection, I realized just how poignant it is, in today's polarized and chaotic world. 

I have always been interested in resolving the juxtaposition of things that are diametrically opposed. A metaphor for life, and for all those who battle with emotional turmoil, let this series seek to invoke serenity. 

“My abstract subject matter is a back and forth conversation of what life is like to live in the middle of two contrasting factions that always seem to be at odds. For me, these paintings are about finding the balance and allowing the space for opposites to reside simultaneously in unity and harmony.”

With this work, I seek to “solve the puzzle” of life’s universal truth of stability and instability, and explore the fulcrum of this see-saw. That sweet spot in the middle, which when standing on the perfect location, will balance the most opposite of forces.  I invite you to immerse yourself in this collection to experience the calm within the chaos.
